Growing up amidst the professors' quarters of IIT Delhi, she closely witnessed the trends and changes that mark the evolution of a student’s life both academically and personally. With feigned astonishment in our minds, we inquired what made her such a beloved figure among her students. Mrs. Pragya's response was as genuine as it was heartfelt: "My students and I are a big family. I leave no space for judgment in this dynamic, let alone a third person." Her fundamentals revolve around the idea of containing an issue through the lens of a student, ensuring that their perspective is valued and taken into account. Her love for computer science, followed by a distinctive method of teaching, is just part of a broader philosophy. Mrs. Pragya, in her 30 years of teaching, has never conformed to the fashion of rote learning. Instead, her pedagogy emphasizes hands-on learning and applying knowledge beyond the classroom.

Mrs. Pragya Paliwal has always orchestrated the dogma of prioritizing a child’s mental well-being above any other factor, and with the same intent, she aims to instill the norms of human etiquette and regard against societal stereotypes and discriminatory practices by sensitizing students from an early age. Being an alumna herself, her prime goal is to uphold and advance the legacy of keeping Manava Bharati a safe haven for the faculty as well as the students. Mrs. Pragya Paliwal’s teenage years were almost entirely influenced by athletics and theatre — a passion that she continues to embrace as a playwright and director. With a reputation for challenging social and political boundaries and crafting compelling narratives for a plethora of award-winning street plays and our very own annual days here at MBIIS, she brings a wealth of experience in the realm of theatre. She is now deeply committed to helping children at MBIIS emerge as confident and pragmatically woke thinkers of tomorrow!
