History of Manava Bharati
MANAVA BHARATI was the dream project of our founder Chairman the Late Dr. Durga Prasad Pandey (born February 11.1910). An Academician and Educationist of international renown Dr. Pandey was educated at the Banares Hindu University, India and the Universities of Cambridge, England and Leiden, Holland. He was associated with the Indian National Freedom Struggle in both; it's revolutionary and Gandhian programmes. A close compatriot Pt. Madan Mohan Malviya suggested his name to Gurudev Rabindra Nath Tagore, who asked him to join Vishwa Bharati, Shantiniketan. 'Babuji' as he was fondly known, decided to devote his work for the cause of child education and the service of ‘divinity in man’. He followed his inclination to develop the concept of child education, which he had nurtured while in association with Poet Tagore. It was Poet Tagore who motivated him to pursue his Ph.D from the prestigious Kings College, Cambridge, England.
The Journey of Manava Bharati India International School

Our endeavour continues to be to inculcate the spirit of 'Panchsheel', the five-value principle, so that our students may understand the fundamental ethics of life, love, compassion, honesty and co-operation through day-to-day activities.
Our mission is to provide quality education that challenges students to achieve their full potential in a caring and supportive framework. Forty five years of nurturing human spirits has proven that students must have abundant opportunities and 'life education' in order to become responsible adults who are ready to face the future, and craft their destinies.
- Delivering an effective, innovative and challenging curriculum for all students. - Teaching in ways that reflects the school’s philosophy. - Promoting a positive, supportive and caring environment where students’ efforts are acknowledged and they are encouraged to pursue perfection. - Nurturing an on-going commitment to the welfare of our school and its extended community.
