Our school participated at the Model United Nations 2018 edition at K.R.Mangalam,GK I I on 27th to 29th July. Twenty-three students participated in various committees including UN General Assembly, UN Security Council., Stakeholders meeting on Draft Education Policy, UN commission on crime prevention and criminal justice, UN commission on narcotic drugs and international atomic energy agency.

Delegates discussed various agendas such as situation in Syria, Yemen, Nuclear energy and sustainable development, fighting money laundering and criminal justice response to terror.

In the end Jawad Torabi of class XI and Abhishek Dey XII were each awarded a special mention and Ishan Sharma VIII and Ebaad Ali VII were verbally appreciated.

Overall, it was three fruitful days for young students passionate about diplomacy to discuss global affairs and debate by expressing various points of view in search of resolution to world challenges. The arguments put forth by the students were mature and their discussions reflected a good understanding. The debating standard was commendable. The students had an enriching experience and came back with wonderful memories and new friendships.
