Inter-House Sanskrit Shloka Recitation Competition
I am not in Competition with anyone but myself. My Goal is to improve myself continuously.
It was a great opportunity for the students of classes V to VIII to participate in the Sanskrit Shloka Recitation Competition on 09 Dec 2022 organized in the school auditorium “Surya”.
All the participants presented their Shlokas with perfect tone and rhythm. Chanting Slokas helps improve concentration and memory. The slokas emit vibrations that activate the Chakras and help children to be calm. Through repetition, neurons get fired up and memory power improves. Slokas are in Sanskrit which is the mother of all languages and hence recitation helps children learn other languages well.
Shlokas for the competition were from Chankya Niti & Geeta conveyed good moral values to the students by employing the finer nuances of tone and rhythm. The renditions of Shlokas enthralled the audience. The judgment was made on the basis of Pronunciation, Presentation, and Eloquence of Speech.
