Reading is a vital part of a child’s learning experience. World Book Day was observed by the entire school on 23 April 2019. This was the initiative of the Literary Club “Centre Stage”. The day began with a sparkle, keeping in view the aim that reading books not only empowers each of us but can unite us too.
Children of the Primary wing had an interesting session with their teachers where stories were dramatized and the characters came alive. The primary wing students were apprised of the fact that every genre of book is important and, if we allow them, books can open up worlds to each and every one of us. An inter-house book quiz was held in the Library for children of class VI and VII.
Senior school children and staff read books of their choices. This exercise of reading was an expansion of knowledge and enjoyment.
