Poster Art Competition
“Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.” Edgar Degas, a French Impressionist artist
Art is not only the product of dexterity and creativity; it is a symbolic significance of one’s senses, emotions, and intellect. The poster art competition was to bring out the creative expression of students and to gauge their knowledge and awareness quotient of the given topics. One could see and feel the enthusiasm that the students had in their presentations. The students displayed their artistic skills through the exquisitely designed posters on the given topics. Competitions of this nature increase the observational skills, response to thoughts, awareness, and concern of the children towards their own feelings and emotions. The activity kept the students engaged and gave them a platform to explore their creativity and showcase their skills. The inherent talents of the participants across V-VIII were commendable.
